Please join us in celebrating the graduation of our apprentices – Kaila McKenzie and Cameron Gardiner! 🎉 Kaila has grown into her role as a Labourer, getting stuck into site life and learning the ins and outs of civil construction, while Cameron has developed his skills as a Plant and Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, working hands-on with the machinery and equipment that keeps our projects moving. It’s been great to watch them grow and build their confidence as they’ve taken on new challenges and continued to develop their skills on the job. We asked them to reflect on their apprenticeship journey, and here’s what they said: 🔹 What’s been your favourite moment at Menai so far? Cameron: “It would be doing major engine work on the dozers.” Kaila: “The Menai Christmas parties.” 🔹 What advice would you give to someone just starting out as an apprentice? Cameron: “Ask plenty of questions for every job.” Kaila: “Learn as much as you can and take as many opportunities as you can.” Your positive attitudes and commitment to doing things properly haven’t gone unnoticed, and we’re incredibly proud of you both for reaching this milestone. 🎓👏 #MenaiCivil #Apprenticeship #CivilConstruction #FutureLeaders #CivilApprenticeships

Another Project Completed! Little Sandy Bridge has officially wrapped up and was re-opened to the community just in time for the end-of-year break! 🌿👷‍♂️ This project involved extensive works to restore and strengthen the crossing for the Elderslie community, including reshaping and stabilising eroded areas, extending the eastern deck, enhancing scour protection on both sides of the river, realigning the pathway, and landscaping around the bridge to leave the surrounding area in excellent condition. Our team also successfully managed a number of river flooding setbacks throughout construction to achieve the project completion milestone. We’re proud to have partnered with @camdencouncilnsw on this project, with a huge thank you to our project team and everyone involved for their dedication, adaptability, and commitment to quality throughout the delivery process. #CivilConstruction #MenaiCivil #ProjectCompletion #Elderslie #ConnectingCommunities

Menai Civil is proud to be partnering with @camdencouncilnsw to deliver the Camden Valley Way & Liz Kernohan Drive Upgrade Project… and we have officially kicked off works onsite! 🚗🎉 This upgrade will enhance movement through Elderslie, Kirkham and Spring Farm, improving safety, capacity, and long-term connectivity across the Camden area. In doing so, the project also delivers the missing link between Camden Valley Way and the Camden Bypass, strengthening movement through surrounding suburbs. Key improvements being delivered from the project include: 🔹 An extension of Liz Kernohan Drive to meet Camden Valley Way at Kirkham Lane, completed with a new signalised intersection that will create a safer and more efficient connection 🔹 Resurfaced and upgraded sections of Liz Kernohan Drive, delivering a more reliable east–west link that ties into the broader network 🔹 A new culvert and enhanced drainage systems to improve resilience and support future storm events 🔹 A redesigned Hilder Street intersection with a two-lane roundabout to improve safety and traffic flow 🔹 A wider, more resilient Camden Valley Way with raised road levels to reduce flood impacts and improve travel-time reliability 🔹 A significant tree-planting initiative, including a standout liquidambar avenue that will create a welcoming entry into Camden As we begin construction, our focus is on delivering these works with careful planning and minimal disruption. We’ll maintain two-way traffic wherever possible, communicate upcoming changes clearly, and ensure the project progresses safely and efficiently. Menai Civil is proud to play a key role in this transformative upgrade, supporting major government investment in Camden’s growing transport network. We look forward to delivering long-lasting benefits for the Camden region. 🌿 Stay tuned as we get boots on the ground and bring this milestone project to life! #MenaiCivil #CivilConstruction #RoadUpgrades #CamdenValleyWay #Camden #ConnectingCommunities

Another Project Competed! We’re excited to share that the new traffic signals at the Old Pitt Town Rd / Terry Rd / Fontana Dr intersection are now officially live! 🚦✨ As Principal Contractor, Menai Civil is proud to have delivered this important upgrade, improving safety, reducing congestion, and supporting the growing Box Hill community. We would like to thank The Hills Shire Council for the opportunity to deliver this critical infrastructure in one of Sydney’s fastest-growing regions. And we extend our appreciation to the local community for their patience, and to our hardworking subcontractors and suppliers for their support throughout this complex project. This has been a significant undertaking with major pavement widening, stormwater upgrades, extensive utility relocations, new shared paths, traffic signals, signage, linemarking and landscaping works. A huge milestone for Menai Civil and our partners – and a great example of what teamwork, dedication and community collaboration can achieve! #MenaiCivil #ProjectCompletion #IntersectionUpgrade #WesternSydney #CivilConstruction #ConnectingCommunities

🌟 Project Spotlight: Austral-Gurner Ave 🌟 Every project has its unique set of challenges, and this one was no different. From unpredictable weather to stringent compliance requirements, we faced it all. But what truly stands out is how our incredible team handled these hurdles with exceptional skill and dedication. It’s not just the things that go to plan that make a good team, but how they handle the unplanned. The positive feedback we’ve received is a testament to the hard work and seamless coordination that went into making this project a success. All post-work surveys came back very positive, reflecting the outstanding efforts of everyone involved. A huge thank you to the Menai Civil team and all our subbies for your unwavering commitment and professionalism.
