Looking to pick up a new skill this summer? Join us for Acrylic Painting with Gay Rhodes, a four-session series on June 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 🎨🌿
With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Gay will guide you through planning and sketching your compositions while exploring a variety of painting techniques. Each class begins with a demonstration, and most students will complete at least two paintings.
All levels are welcome, whether you are just starting out or looking to refine your skills. 💚

SCOUTED EVENT// The 2026 Food Truck Garden Party series at the Memphis Botanic Garden features live music, local food trucks, artists, various vendors and a cash bar from 5-8 pm. If you missed this event Wednesday, don’t worry, there are more Garden Parties on the calendar. Visit the Botanic Garden again onJune 10, September 9, and October 14. These events are free with Garden admission and are dog-friendly! 🐾☀️💐
Thanks to the generous support of the The Knapp Foundation, visiting school groups now have a few more places to gather, snack, learn, and recharge. Their funding helped us add eight new permanent picnic tables across the Garden, creating a more comfortable experience for the tens of thousands of students who visit each year. 🌿
