The last 72 hours have been the culmination of 15 + months of my life.. It’s what I’ve been looking forward to day-in and day-out since C generously offered us a chance to screen TPSORK months ago. This weekend was packed with countless full circle moments, 5 layers deep of meaning, that I can’t begin to explain the significance. It’s ALWAYS been here. I was the one who left. I’m immensely proud of the screening, but also how the community here swarmed w/ activity to make this entire weekend a success far beyond... in-fact, I believe the real ā€œmeaningā€ are ALL the connections fostered between people, old friends and new. I had the realization during the screening that even though it’s ā€œDo-It-Yourselfā€ it doesn’t mean ā€œDo-It-Aloneā€ so go out there, find your community and build TOGETHERšŸ’Ŗ. Our numbers are small, yet mighty(!) and the amount of talent and passion down here rivals any other place I’ve visited. In fact, it’s the DIY culture that has paid back in dividends, personally. Coming from a small region you can’t help by feel inspired by the energy of what so-and so is doing and how it pushes you to make your art better. This friendly competition always existed down here, and it’s nice to be in a truly supportive environment. I’m FOREVER grateful and humbled by this time and it’s something I truly will never, ever forget. 🌓 Thank you to all the OG friends who showed up to support me and the new faces who are carrying the torch for the next generation. Coming back to this mighty home region, it’s honestly a firehose of positive emotions and I’m bursting with inspiration by how truly badass it is to be here. Love in my body overflows and I cannot wait to come back for another visit. Gallery photos by @jejenomemes thank you for documenting!!

This has been a long time coming, but I’m so excited to announce my ā€œnew projectā€ Atomic Sunrise has been live for a minute now. Currently, our first artist’s debut single ā€œTidal Museā€ by ā€œGlazerBeamsā€ is available on Spotify and Apple Music to stream! Atomic Sunrise is a labor of love that is built on a DIY ethos with more info + releases TBA. I’d appreciate if you gave that account a follow, as this profile will remain personal and private. Keep your ears peeled for more announcements coming up soon. šŸ–¤

After a devastating 2024, 2025 promised to be just as challenging and it delivered. It was the year for (re)connection and growth. Reconnecting with friends, family, and myself while recommitting to the vision I want for my life. 2025 was the year: I collaborated on my first feature film contributing original music, finally meeting Andrew in the flesh after years of musing about synthesizers electronically, slowing down and savoring all of life’s moments, further entrenching my bonds with my best friends(even admitting to some that they were defined as that), it was the year of finally understanding concepts I’ve been trying to piece together for 10+ years finally clicking (!!!), it was the year of being kissed by a stranger on the cheek in Paris ā€œ wishing me to find loveā€, it was finally understanding Picasso, it was the countless hours spent with my nieces. 2025 was filled with hardship and pain, experimentation and growth, failure and laughter. Halfway through the 2025, I knew it was a monumental time for me and I look forward to continuing the momentum into 2026 and beyond. Next Friday, I’m giving a short talk after the screening of @arin.spence ’s new film discussing my process on the film’s music while providing some concrete actionable steps that you can use to enhance your (creative) life. I have an extra ticket if anybody’s interested. See my story for info. As always, more to say and more will follow.

Photos from the last 94 hours of my life. Art = Life. Knowledge is power. Sharing is an act of love. If you’re not part of the solution you are the problem. It is the artist’s responsibility to leave the world a better place. Go out and do it.

Jamuary 31 What a marathon this month has been finding the time, inspiration, and motivation to complete these short videos. I learned a ton and had even more fun just being in the zone, it also brought me back to how I used to work more in video.I miss miss that part of creation, but I won’t be a stranger to it… I challenge you to do something you really enjoy for the next 28 days and see how far you develop!

Jamuary 28 This one is all about the funny little melodies that progress from humble origins. The main bit is going through all the fx while the lower (second) part is performed live and then dubbed. It’s getting me thinking… how can I perform this live, without any backing track? I need more collaborators (and hands) to help turn these dials! Photo is years old shot with a Holga.
