memory card is the musical outlet of Henry White, hailing from Birmingham, Alabama. Henry is a stunning songwriter. His deep-voiced honesty grabbed me immediately. His guitar playing is noisy and moving (it would come as no surprise that he's also an @oldst4r affiliate)
Our special edition cassette is filled to the brim with original art by Henry, pulled directly from his comic book “A days work in pell city”
The album was captured with bedroom quality recording but feels emotionally huge and takes a wide bite out of indie rock ground. Power pop, alt-country, emo, slow-core… I’m almost sure most of it is music, and as Henry once told me, music make the world go round.
