I have always heard actors saying that they improvised the lines written by the writer to make it their own. But I have always thought otherwise, each and every word written by the writer has a lot of thought added to it. Every pause has a reason, every dot has a reason and it has been changed multiple times. I understood this when I wrote my first film script. And now as an actor I try my best to just stick to the words and try making them my own with other techniques. When I first watched this scene I always thought this must be an improvised scene until I read the original script and found out that each and every word was purely followed by these two genius actors.
