Williams' work focuses on the practice of laser-engraving phrases found online onto small stones he encounters IRL. This multidimensional research preserves the irony, personal stories, and narratives of life in the second millennium written by anonymous users, anticipating a future in which, without electricity, they will be lost.
At 19.00, Williams will be interviewed by Lorenzo Zaffaroni - aka
@dieblauedecke - the academic researcher in cultural sociology who investigates the intersection of artistic languages, the political agency of aesthetic forms, and the transformation of cultural fields.
For the launch, a water-repellent book jacket was created by designer Manfredi Montalto -aka
@memefredi - re-using an old parka of mine, a weirdly cute fabric found in the market, and yellow "code di topo".
Last but not least,
