One of my best childhood memories is from when we lived in a joint family with more than 30 members, ranging in age from 3 to 70 years. Food was prepared in one place, with all the women cooking, cleaning dishes, and carrying firewood. The children would eat together, and the men returned from the fields to enjoy hot rotis and sabzi.
The chulha was near the well, and there was always a bucket tied with a rope lying beside it for drawing water. We were laughing, eating, and sometimes even fighting—but those were the best days of our lives.

The Pope isn’t really a Christian, and Donald Trump is Jesus Christ. In the latest social media rants by US President Trump, his newest target or enemy is the Holy Pope himself. From calling him weak to a ‘radical Left’ pleaser—Trump didn’t hold back. And the cause for this ire? Pope Leo XIV repeatedly condemning war, violence, terror, and saying things like we should not kill innocent children, maybe? He attacked his previous MAGA supporters, many self-admitted devout Christians, for similarly opposing the war or not wanting to die for Israel.
From allies to the Pope and everyone in between; anyone who ‘dared’ to condemn the war or counter his calls for genocide with his social media about 'ending entire civilisation’ was met with angry outrage on social media.
And now Trump has new threats; with warnings and blockades after talks in Islamabad didn’t result in any ceasefire agreement, a pattern emerges about the president’s MAGA club. In 2023, Trump was indicted under Section 241 of the Ku Klux Klan Act. Although the president had disavowed any association with the white supremacist group and has said any indictment will cause “bedlam” which now seems to be his chosen way.
