Smallest coffee grinder in the world. No it’s not used to brew tiny pour over coffees, but helps me crush single beans so I can have a better look into the seeds that I sort before throwing them in the wastebin. In earlier videos, you can catch me using a small lime juicer which does a decent job, though it was bulky, couldn’t crush accurately, and wasn’t as quick and easy to work with as this. This tool also goes by “bone mill” or “bone morselizer” and is originally used in Dental and Surgical fields so they can be expensive, so being the first person to use it for crushing coffee beans, I took the risk and picked up the cheapest one I could find. Luckily this thing works as expected and although it creaks and clangs, it fulfills my obsessive bean crushing workflow perfectly. It’s satisfying, cool, and takes a bit of reps to get used to, but I’m definitely going to be picking more up in the future. #bonecrusher #coffeetools #pourover #manualbrewcoffee #coffeesorting #filtercoffee #melodrip #ドリップコーヒー #coffeetime #咖啡

After 18 months of testing, listening, and refining — the Melodrip Lift 2.5 is here. We at @fused_visions are proud to be partnering with @fdmbyoptikalblitz to finally bring the product to Germany and soon all European countries, produced and shipped in and from Munich, Germany. Of course the product is still available in the states as well. Packed with features to lift your brew to the next level. ☕️⬆️ Meet the Melodrip Lift 2.5 — the evolution of a competition-proven tool, refined over 18 months of real-world feedback and developed in collaboration with 2022 USBRC Champion & WBRC Runner-Up, Elika Liftee. Every detail is engineered to give you more control over your extraction: 🔒 Lock it — Snap-fit captive Melodrip Dish with a satisfying click keeps the dish secure during brewing. No wobble, no guessing.
🎯 Control your agitation — Three precision bypass windows let you instantly shift from diffused to direct pouring when you need more energy in the bed.
🤝 Grip it — Reinforced, textured grip tab makes handling safe and easy, even with oversized filters and hot water.
🛡 Secure it — Wide, stable base seats confidently on your dripper so you can focus on technique, not tool placement.
💧 Original Melodrip Dish @melodripco — Optional diffuser gives you a consistent flow rate without needing a gooseneck kettle. Now upgraded for 2.5 with strengthened structure, precision dish height control, and an improved locking system — built to perform, brew after brew. Designed for Kalita, Origami, V60, Stagg, OREA, and more — including the new Type-O Lift for OREA V3 Large & V4 Narrow. This is control, stability, and flexibility — lifted. Z1 is the easiest way to ZERO BYPASS. - Tiny, durable, and with the included melodrip dish, a gooseneck kettle isn’t required so it’s great for traveling. - Brews fast or slow depending on how large or small your pours are, so whether you want to brew a 2:30 medium roast, or a longer contact 3:30 light roast, flavors are dense and punchy - what you’d expect from this style of brewer. - @sibaristcoffee FAST filters are predictably responsive (Not Super Fast!) on the Z1, which I like! They also allow some oil and texture to pass for a very balanced tactile presentation. - Simple to brew along with a consistent drain rate for loads of experimentation. - Very little paper waste. My Light Roast Recipe: Medium Fine 15g Coffee to 255ml Water Pour Structure Scaling: 17:1 - Coffee dose multiplied by 3x + 4x + 4x + 6x = 17 ~40ml Pour Wait 40sec. ~60ml (100ml Total) Pour Wait until water drains above 1cm above brew bed ~60ml (160ml Total) Pour Wait until water drains above 1cm above brew bed ~95ml (255ml Total) Pour TBT: ~3:30min Enjoy! Lastly, thank you for your continued friendship and support, your products are a constant source of energy and inspiration. Congrats on another stellar release!!
