3 Months project is finally done👌
This short cinematic monster scene started as a simple sculpt practice in ZBrush. Over time I pushed it further — texturing in Substance Painter and building the full scene in Blender until it turned into something much bigger than the initial idea.
Big shoutout to my friend Ahmed Bellagha who jumped in near the end and added the FX work in Houdini, bringing an extra layer of life to the shot. Also thanks to Mehiyar and Nizar for helping optimize the systems so everything could run smoothly inside Blender.
👇How to get better as a digital artist👾🧑🎨
1. Be patient and consistent.
Improvement is slow and almost invisible at first. But 6 months of focused work will turn you into a different artist. Most people quit too early.
2. Practice what you genuinely love.
Choose characters, worlds, or subjects you care about. Long projects demand emotional investment — if you’re not excited about it, you’ll drop it halfway.
3. Improve your anatomy and fundamentals.
Use base meshes. Study structure, not just surface detail. If the foundation is wrong, nothing will look right.
4. Use references — constantly.
Professionals don’t guess. They study. Reference trains your eye and sharpens accuracy.
5. Master the pipeline.
Learn multiple programs and, more importantly, how they communicate together. Blender, ZBrush, Substance, Marvelous, Photoshop — understanding workflow integration is what makes work professional.
6. Don’t be afraid to explore.
Test new tools. Click the buttons you usually ignore. Try different techniques. Growth lives outside your comfort zone.
7. Watch professionals work.
Study how they think and solve problems — not just what tools they use.
8. Start with a strong concept.
Great execution can’t save a weak idea. A powerful concept elevates everything.
First creature sculpt in ZBrush 🧠💀
A messy, fun dive into forms, faces, and pure chaos. Learned a lot and definitely just getting started.
More creatures coming.

After long time of not posting anything its time to post all the stuff i was making lately, here is one of my latest characters for upcoming game i was commissioned to work for!
This is my first ZBrush sculpt. I’ve been using the software for a week now, and I’m really proud of this step. I’ve carried my Blender sculpting skills into ZBrush, and now I’m learning to adapt to the new software mechanics and technical challenges.
