A little bit about me and how I’ve ended up living in a tiny town in the middle of the Pilbara, how 12 months ago I was terrified, unsure and now I’ve realised it was actually one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
I’ve grown and learned so much about myself in the 12 months and am becoming a version of myself that I am proud of, all because I decided to fully embrace being out of my comfort zone and leaving behind everyone and everything I’ve ever known!
My take on all of this - If an opportunity scares the shit out of you. It’s probably exactly where you are supposed to be! ❤️🔥

A year from now you could still be thinking about starting…
or you could have built something you’re really proud of.
So many of us let limiting beliefs, self doubt, and fear of judgement hold us back from EVEN TRYING!
“I’m not ready yet.”
“I don’t know enough.”
“What if people judge me?”
“What if I fail?”
Those thoughts happen to all of us because we are human and doubt is our brain protecting us from something that feels unknown and “unsafe”.
But the truth is… the time will pass anyway.
At some point you have to decide whether you’re going to let those thoughts define you, or whether you’re going to move forward despite them.
The biggest thing I’ve learnt is that growth doesn’t happen when you feel ready.
It happens when you start - even when it’s messy, you’re unsure and you’re figuring it out as you go.
You get to choose whether fear and doubt keep you stuck wondering “what if” or whether you use these doubts as a sign that you’re stepping outside your comfort zone. And I’ve also learned that great things DO NOT happen in comfort zones!
One year from now, you’ll either wish you started…
or you’ll be glad that you did.

A piece I recently created for the Pilbara Inland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PICCI).
The vision behind this reel was to showcase some of the incredible women in business who help shape our little community here in Tom Price. In a town like ours, small businesses and the people behind them are the core of our community- and the women leading, building and supporting these spaces deserve to be celebrated.
When I was putting this together, I really wanted it to feel light hearted, fun and most importantly authentic. Not overly polished or staged, just a genuine snapshot of the amazing energy these women bring to our community every day.
Creative projects like this are the ones that light me up. Telling stories, capturing moments, and helping showcase the people who make regional communities so special is something I’m incredibly passionate about.
Seeing the vision come to life was such a cool moment, and I’m so grateful to have been trusted with the creative process for this piece ❤️🔥
