A Visualization of Black Oppression… and beyond.
Today, I’m happy to share a photography project I created exactly one year ago, my very first. This was a scary, yet important, step in my creative journey.
This black and white series explores the profound, yet often overlooked, experience of Black oppression in Europe. Through visual storytelling, I try to spark dialogue, challenge narratives, and amplify marginalised voices.
The colorful series showcases the complexity and resilience of Blackness, moving beyond the restricting narrative of Black individuals as mere victims.
