Thank you to all the generous souls who shared a piece of their Burn with me.
And to the desert for absorbing it all... including half of my belongings.
What a gift to be fully present. Such freedom.
Choosing every moment as it comes.
No plans, no forced schedules.
Just good vibes, fragile mornings with my crew, and lots of magical adventures, soul shaking conversations and beautiful new connections.
Thank you Tankwa Town for realigning me and for bringing me back to myself.
Lessons learned:
Go with the flow.
Be kind. Keep an open heart.
Give without expecting (but ask when you need).
Trust your choices.
Follow love and curiosity.
Feel where you belong.
Hydrate š
And most importantly⦠have fun!
Canāt sleep? Feeling anxious the longer it takes to get to sleep? Spiral š of doom at how hard tomorrow is going to be? Weāve all been there - hereās how I get over the anxiety avalanche at 1:00 am š
But if this doesnāt work - be awake. Make tea, read a book, watch something. Trust your body can do tomorrow and just have a weird night where sleep wasnāt happening - you are going to be okay I promise.

Two lessons I learnt that have helped me with my perfectionism and self regulation in 2025.
Manifest well today cuties - life likes it when you ask for what you want.

Breathā¢Ofā¢Light
This is one of my favourite Himalayan #kundalini Kriyas as it demands a bit of participation and whenever the brain is participating you can pull it more tenderly towards the #present moment and away from thoughts of the past or the future.
Method:
Sit (or stand) in a comfortable position for your body.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouthā¦.
THEN
Take 8 sips of air in through your nose imagining air building up from the base of the body to the crown.
HOLDā¦..
HOLDā¦ā¦
Keep Holdingā¦.
ANDā¦.
Exhale.
Immediately repeat the above steps.
For optimal results do this at least x 8.
For energy shifting and complete present moment awareness do this for 5 minutes.
You are safe and you are exactly where you are meant to be.

Sometimes you only realise how impactful time on set can be after youāve had the space to reflect on the small village it takes to make the magic happen and to tell the stories worth telling. Hereās to never stopping learning and creating.
Thank you @eyeforce š
Start it up will always have such a big and beautiful space in my heart. I started on season 1 of this wonderful series where we shot documentary profiles of students all over the world and capturing their inner worlds as well as their big business ideas that saw them sign up for the @eo_gsea competition. I loved every second of it and continue to smile whenever I think of the places and people I met, worked with and got to make magic with - I had the privilege of being a part of the team for 3 whole seasons from producer to creative director and what an amazing journey it was.
What an absolute honor it was to write a profile for this seasonās @houseandleisure magazine. I am ever grateful to @charl_edwards and @robyn_collyer for welcoming me into their beloved publication. I also feel rather fortunate to have known my subject @caitlin_warther and to be able to share her as I experience her was a true delight and my words would be nothing without the gorgeous images taken by @ankeloots and they styling by @_storm_ross which added to the gorgeous meditation on the intimacy of words and the power of community and collaboration.
This was my first project with @eyeforce - and it was a hell of a thing š we had some of the worldās best kite surfers around Cape Point and Drive fast cars for @redbullza . I made life long friends here (Iām looking at you @tyrone_bradley & @alexrevers ) and I learnt a lot š
Back in February of 2020 @catobekker and I met to@chat about a new series she was busy with called āDie Uitnodigingā. Our first meeting ended up being 5 hours long as Cato and I bonded over the concept of reconciliation and reality tv and how on earth we were going to convince a South African audience to āmake upā on national television (hereās looking at you @kyknettv ) - fast forward 2 years and we shot Two whole season in Cape Town, the Garden Route and Gauteng! We shot through a pandemic š· we shot come rain or shine, we reunited over 25 families and friends and produced a show I will forever be very proud of.
TV can be so much more than just entertainment it can also be a vehicle for change.
The Karoo presented itself to us like a Pierneef painting in motion. We shot with the students of @casa__93 and the beautiful collaborators from @franceinsouthafrica and had the wonderful privilege of telling their stories. What a rare and beautiful opportunity, to tell stories with such kind and brave creators.
Shout out to @nelisphota who shot the docie and @wantedmistake who edited it as well as @ruth_armstrong who shot these beautiful stills.
