“Think of a bee” - Welcoming Francesca Albanese @francesca.albanese.unsr.opt , United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, to Melissa Network, a bee-hive shaped by women’s voices and shared histories together with women from Gaza and others carrying the open wounds of war from across the world. Stories unfolded—not as distant testimonies, but as living truths: of loss, survival, displacement, and unbreakable dignity. In the quiet strength of this gathering, we were reminded that solidarity is not abstract—it is built in presence, in courage, and in the insistence that every story matters. We thank Francesca for her unwavering commitment to justice, and all the women who spoke, listened, and held space for one another. «Σκέψου μια μέλισσα»: καλωσορίζοντας τη Francesca Albanese, Ειδική Εισηγήτρια των Ηνωμένων Εθνών για τα Κατεχόμενα Παλαιστινιακά Εδάφη, στο Δίκτυο Μέλισσα – μια κυψέλη διαμορφωμένη από τις φωνές και τις ιστορίες των γυναικών – μαζί με γυναίκες από τη Γάζα, και άλλες, που κουβαλούν τις ανοιχτές πληγές του πολέμου από κάθε γωνιά του κόσμου. Οι ιστορίες που ακούστηκαν δεν ήταν μακρινές μαρτυρίες, αλλά ζωντανές αλήθειες: απώλειας, επιβίωσης, εκτοπισμού και άθραυστης αξιοπρέπειας. Στην ήσυχη δύναμη αυτής της συνάντησης, θυμηθήκαμε, για άλλη μια φορά, ότι κάθε ιστορία έχει τη δική της σημασία, και ότι η αλληλεγγύη δεν είναι κάτι αφηρημένο, αλλά χτίζεται μέσα από την παρουσία, το θάρρος και την επιμονή.
