Motherhood looks different for everyone. š¾

Today has been a different kind of Motherās Day for me. In many ways. But my baby Lexi is the constant I can always count on. Sheās the one who silently just knows how to make me smile. Who with one simple look absorbs it all and changes my state of being. The one I whoās always up for anything and who teaches me that slowing down and just being is enough. That the simple is always better and that what matters is to just be present. That love is an action demonstrated through presence and action, because words matter less and actions speak volumes.

What a magical city. Felt like stepping into a storubook town full of history and chocolate. We were so impressed by the artistry in the chocolate making, itās just simply beyond!

We embraced it and went all in!

Kingās Day (Koningsdag) is a vibrant Dutch national holiday celebrated annually on April 27th (or the 26th if the 27th is a Sunday) to mark King Willem-Alexanderās birthday. The entire country turns orange, featuring nationwide vrijmarkt (flea markets), boat parties, live music, and street festivals, with over a million visitors flocking to Amsterdam.

Every corner had a DJ. Every street was a party. Drinking is allowed on the streets for this day and the city goes all in! What an experience!
