If you asked me now if I would have moved alone to the US at 17 knowing everything I know now, the answer would be ânoâ. But Iâm extremely grateful that I did. The film industry may look glamorous from the outside, but trust me - itâs not glamorous at all. On the contrary, itâs ridiculously challenging. Add being an immigrant to the mix⊠I always tell people that the only ones who actually stick with film are the ones who truly love it, so being listed as one of the 6 people in the field under 30 is a huge privilege and one more validation that it was all worth it!
