Don Giovanni does not happen without the commitment of hundreds of artists, crew and volunteers — people who believe grand opera belongs in this city. Melbourne Opera is grateful to every one of them. Don Giovanni Company 2026 📸 Robin Halls

We're still riding the wave from Don Giovanni, and honestly, thank you. Sold-out nights, a stunning cast, and an audience that made every performance feel electric. We couldn't do any of it without Melbourne's support. If you found yourself wishing you'd been there sooner, or closer, that's what FOMO is for. Friends of Melbourne Opera members get dress rehearsal access, priority booking, pre-show talks, and a genuine community of people who love this art form as much as we do. From $60/year. Under 26? Just $30. Don't get FOMO on FOMO. Link in bio. 📸 Robin Halls #MelbourneOpera #FOMO #DonGiovanni #FriendsOfMelbourneOpera

Melbourne Opera is coming to the NGV. We’re proud to be part of NGV Friday Nights: CARTIER this winter, presenting Diamonds for the Diva — a series of bespoke live performances celebrating Dame Nellie Melba, the Melbourne-born soprano whose voice conquered the world and who counted Cartier among her admirers. Arranged especially for Friday Nights, the performance features Melbourne Opera’s own ‘Melba’ with a chamber ensemble of string quartet, flute and conductor — performed in the extraordinary surrounds of NGV International, alongside nearly 400 jewels, gems and archival treasures from Cartier. Friday Nights: 12 June – 2 October | 6–10PM with Melbourne Opera performing on the 12th June and 11th September NGV International, 180 St Kilda Rd Tickets from $50 | ngv.vic.gov.au/friday-nights/ #NGVFridayNights #NGVCartier #melbourneopera

“For all the reprehensible behaviour portrayed in Mozart’s opera, Chaundy’s production was essentially uplifting and highly entertaining. Outstanding performances of great music make this Don Giovanni a rewarding experience. Highly recommended.” Heather Leviston Read the full review here .au/melbourne-opera-the-rake-punished-or-don-giovanni/

With less than 50 tickets left for tonight’s performance, there is one more chance to see our acclaimed production of Don Giovanni. Tickets are available from $49 for this Sunday’s final performance. Be sure not to miss out! “In a Don Giovanni that aligns comfortably with tradition and elucidates the jocular elements of ‘Dramma giocoso’, Melbourne Opera’s (MO) new production, directed by Suzanne Chaundy, has a good list of pluses – none more so than the splendid musical interpretation under conductor Raymond Lawrence and the fine musicianship of the MO Orchestra, who add thrilling vocal padding to proceedings, “ Paul Selar - Australian Arts Review .au/don-giovanni-tickets/artist/803731 📸Robin Halls
