Melbourne Fur Con 2026: Tropical Tails has come to a close.
We would like to give a huge thanks to the staff, the volunteers and everyone involved including our excellent attendees for making this weekend so special! We had a record attendance this year with over 1,000 attendees across the 3 days.
We would also like to say thank you for raising $18,075 towards our charity, Kiwi's New Life Bird rescue.

Day 3
Well Final day has finished and what a day.
lots of events were held, Artist Alley, Fursuit Games, D&D and of course our Closing Ceremony and Charity Auction which made $18,075 for @kiwis_new_life_bird_rescue .

Okay, I might be losing it, or maybe this island just has a thing for surprises. I found the oddest rock today, glowing ever so faintly...and no one seems to have seen it, neither on the cruise nor on the island before! Could it be...magic? Or maybe just my impeccable sense of adventure! Either way, I have a feeling our next adventure is going to be absolutely enchanting...🦇💎

Day 2
Another day done and what a day!
Today we started with our fursuit photo and walk followed by lots of fun panels including D&D, Plush meet, SNAPPAKAPPA's Panel, What's My Lion and Sparkledog takeover all finishing with our gentle tides dance.
Tomorrow we finish the con off.
Day 1
Officially the day is here, MFC Day 1.
Today we saw lots of attendees attending many events around the con including Fursuit 101, Sunset Scorpions panel, My first Furcon, Opening Ceremony, our Friday night night market and our Friday night dance, along with many other events.
MFC Day 0
Day 0 of MFC Tropical Tails is finally done (mostly).
Our theming team has been going crazy theming the hotel and our early rego pick up was a success (everyone wanting to get in early to those events tomorrow).
For now though it’s still a bit more work behind the scenes to do, then we’re ready for it all to kick off in the morning.
