Nothing too new over here - still trying to become a morning person, re-adjust to Dallas traffic, and keep myself from posting too much about Maggie 🎀💫
I don’t really know how to put into words what 2024 meant for me, but I’m hoping these pictures show the moments of joy, hope, and love.
And of course, none of this would be possible without @apostolosfilmphotos Thank you for always pushing me to shoot more on my Leica mini and for developing my film 🫶🏻 (some of the pictures on here are his too!)
For the fourth year in a row, the White House is displaying a Día de los Muertos ofrenda to honor and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed. I put down a photo of my “Tito” Herman Horta who passed away in June 2020. It still feels like yesterday when we were celebrating him at his Margaritaville themed birthday. I also put down a photo of my great grandmother, Jovita. I love this picture of her in her wedding dress, always classy and sassy. She was born in Hutchinson, Kansas in 1927 and never let us forget it. Thank you @potus and @flotus for letting us celebrate our loved ones in the people’s house ❤️
