I saw a comment under a post by @dara_for_enjoyment_only where someone mentioned that you could get to the Seme border with less than N10k so I decided to explore that, just because.
Quite the challenge for me but I think it was worth it. The seats were not the most comfortable but it was only for a few hours and the reward? You get to visit a new country and enjoy a travel experience on a budget. That’s a win for me.
Something else that’s important to note is the value of Friendship. The main reason I was able to achieve this was because I have friends within Cotonou.
It was my first time travelling cross-country by road alone and my experience was good. Some of the people I met on the way made the experience even more exciting for me and helped me with figuring out the best routes and going through the border easily. If any of you come across this, know that I am eternally grateful.

I love that they have ties to the community and often use their space to promote creative/artistic expressions within Cotonou and beyond. They have a bar and kitchen for those who just come into the garden workspace and for events too. Staying guests can also order in from there as well.
