Melancholic Crossroads bring a dark electronic atmosphere that feels both dreamy and haunting. Their sound blends witch house textures with gothic energy, sometimes leaning into a softer aesthetics.
Though the members currently live far apart, the project is tied to Los Angeles and built around collaboration and shared inspiration. Melancholic Crossroads take their name from the legend of Robert Johnson and the myth of the crossroads, a fitting image for a band exploring dark themes and emotional spaces. Influenced by artists like Let’s Eat Grandma, Sidewalks and Skeletons, Crim3s, and Crystal Castles, they create a modern witch house sound while experimenting with styles inspired by acts like Brutalismus 3000 and Snow Strippers. Their new album Apathetic is set to release soon.
