Each October, they host a Dig Pink event, which helps raise money for the @digpink Sideout Foundation, a key partner for breast cancer research. Had the most AMAZING time in San Francisco! If you’ve never been, I highly recommend! We honestly couldn’t have asked for better weather! We did literally everything….bike tour of the city, including riding over the Golden Gate Bridge; visited Alcatraz; went to Muir Woods and did a 15 mile hike; rode the trolley every day; ate our weight in seafood; started our day watching the seals; attended 3 baseball games and 1 NBA game; saw billion dollar homes; saw the Painted Ladies and the Full House house; rode the Ferris wheel; and even had lunch with my penpal @pamyoj that I’ve known since 2nd grade

10+ years later, we meet again @meko_threads . What started as a homework assignment to improve English reading and writing skills, turned into a lifelong friendship. And to think we’ve only met twice in person, yet you know all about my childhood, tween and teen days. From exchanging stickers internationally, to celebrating birthdays and life events via photos and snail mail. Truly cherish your friendship and glad I was able to make my way back to SF to meet you and Tim on your ball park adventures. Next time I’ll come to visit y’all 😉.

Slowly getting back into sewing. Here are the first 3 blocks of @sweetpotatoquilts 2026 BOM. I’m paying homage to mom by using purples, her favorite color💜. And flamingos are her favorite animal, so I’m using a pink background. Loving there blocks

Thank you to those who have noticed my absence on IG and reached out. I haven’t been on social media for the last few weeks because my mom had a medial emergency at the beginnng of November. I spent 3.5 weeks back home and was by her bed every step of the way. She unfortunately passed away on November 23. She is the reason why I quilt. She is the reason why I’m so strong willed and stubborn. She is the reason why I’m competitive and work to be the best version of myself every day. I am who I am today because of my mom. The thought of doing anything in my quilting room has been emotion and exhausting—because I don’t want to do this without her. But knowing I can keep her memory alive through my quilting has given me motivation to pick up the needle, so to speak. Here’s the finished top of my 2025 @sweetpotatoquilts Block of the Month. I made 3 blocks per month to make the rainbow ombré effect. I love his it turned out. And I know my mom would love this quilt, too💜

I love taking baby items and making them into a keepsake. What’s even better is making it for a childhood friend I’ve known since I was 10. Thank you for supporting my small business @jenannek 💜💜. I hope Bohde loves his bear!
