Since 2013 we’ve been sharing our work, activism and impact on Instagram. While we've seen a lot of changes to the platform in this time, we can no longer reconcile our values with its increasingly problematic ecosystem that’s now impossible to ignore: algorithm manipulation, data and privacy breaches, selective censorship, government propaganda bot farms, removal of hate speech policy protecting LGBTQIA+ and other marginalised people, support for the genocidal terr0rist state of “Israel”, endless intrusive advertising, climate denial, etc etc.
Our account will remain for now but we won’t be engaging with it. We’re investing our time and energy into spaces where not only our work gets seen but community, creativity, and humanity are valued and respected.
