A space type that appears simple but is often one of the hardest to resolve well.
This scheme is anchored in three principles central to Mehrai Design:
• Emotional temperature — a calm, warm and welcoming atmosphere rather than the glare and sterility of conventional corporate rooms. • Proportion and balance — the table, artwork, joinery line and rug pattern establish the visual rhythm. • Behaviour-led layout — intuitive circulation, softened acoustics and furniture placement that supports clear, comfortable conversation.
Art and styling play a deliberate role here. Curated pieces were selected not as decoration but as anchors for mood, orientation and cultural tone, reinforcing the character of the room without overwhelming it. Soft planting and haptic materials add another layer: tactility, biophilic cues and sensory comfort, all of which are increasingly recognised as essential elements in contemporary workplace design thinking.
