It is a pleasure to announce that DEAD ROOTS has been selected by the Oscar qualifying @inthepalaceiff to compete for best student fiction film! The festival will take place in Pernik, Bulgaria 27th of June. Maybe see you there :) Making this film was truly an insane journey.. It would not have been possible without everyone who put a piece of their soul in it. Thank you for trusting me and being part of Dead Roots!

The films explore migration, coming of age, and identity through personal experiences and diverse cinematic forms. Leaving her youth unfinished there, she finds herself caught between childhood and adulthood.
