One time I pooped my pants at a Target.
It wasn’t so much “pooping my pants” as it was a violent explosion of butt pee spraying alllll over the bathroom, before I could make it to a toilet and get my jeans down.
Bless my heart. I don’t blame myself.
I had just gotten a colonic (where they flush water up your colon to cleanse out your intestines), and apppparerrrently there was some water still hidden up in there somewhere.
Well next thing you know, ol’ gravity did her thing and ripped that water right out of me like an RV trying to make a getaway without disconnecting the black water first!
Here is the reason I’m telling you about pooping my pants at a Target: You are not the embarrassing/bad/sad/hard things that happen to you.
You are the one experiencing those things.
Don’t make it personal. Take the learning, take the funny story, leave the rest.
Yes, I pooped my pants… but I am not a poopy pants. Do you see the difference?
You win some, you lose some you know? #depends
My 9-year-old nephew, John, recently told me I’m obsessed with Spain the same way he’s obsessed with reptiles.
I laughed and told him he was right. And then we had a conversation about how great it is to find the things you’re passionate about. And when you do, you should put those things in your life as much as possible!
He should get a reptile as a pet!?! And I should move to Spain!!?!
Sadly, one of us need’s our mother’s permission…
And it’s not me!
We’re moving to Spain. 🥳💃🏻🇪🇸🍷🙌🏼
Life is loud. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is leave.
Not forever. Just long enough to remember that the stress you’re carrying and the problems you see around you isn’t the whole story.
Neuroscience fact: your nervous system can’t fully distinguish between a real experience and a vividly imagined one.
So close your eyes. Imagine you’re here now. 🌊
Feel the sand. Hear the birds. Let the water do what water does — wash it all clean.
Breathe in. Let it go. Every little thing is gonna be alright. 💛
(Save this for when you need it most.)

Do you know #whatsgood about having Frenchies?
A million things.
But quite possibly the best is these winter hats.
And the smile these bone-heads in beanies put on people’s faces when we ride past.
It’s my own personal contribution to society to go out in the frigid cold and parade these winter-chic Meatballs around, spreading smiles and warming hearts for .4 miles on our way to dinner.
We all have our gift to give. This is mine.
Twenty two years ago the powers that be brought us together from opposite sides of the country to play volleyball at Villanova.
Twenty two years later the power of friendship keeps us together from opposite sides of the world.
We’ve been friends longer than we haven’t and we’ve made more memories than I can count, but far less than we will before we’re done.
Wishing a very happy 40th birthday to one of my best friends and favorite people in this world. @celinekaba I love you sister! ❤️
