It's been a long while since we last spoke! Wanted to share that Finn's legacy lives on!!! This is Finn's daugther Oriel!!!!! And son, Bmo!!!! While Finn had his long-term boyfriend/partner, Binks (who is still in mourning). Finn evidently was our little bi king, and had short fling with Louise and Reese Witherhorns.
While no one will ever take Finn's place, Oriel is darling, and Bmo is a sweet little man, that shares so much of his dad's qualities. I am so happy that I get to have a piece of him live on.
Long live Finn!

Update. Finn is home. We spent all day at the vet. No surgery, but the results are looking like Polio/Listeria. These look and act differently in goats than in humans. It can be aggressive and deadly, however, the vet thinks we caught it early enough. The treatment is pretty intense. Finn has ten injections of different meds daily for the next 2 weeks. Some are once a day, and some are in 6 hour intervals and throughout the night. He isn't out of the woods, but we can see the clearing. We appreciate you all so incredibly much and for everyone reaching out and sending their love. Keep sending those good vibes! Finn, Meagan, and I love each and every one of you!
My best man, Finn, started acting a little distant the night before last. Thought it might be due to all the rain we've had. Yesterday in the morning, he was disoriented, drooling, and shaking. Spoke to the Emergency Vet, and we started some antibiotics and B-Complex. I gave him injections every 6 hours and stayed up all night, keeping him calm and relaxed. This morning, we got him over to @faulkville_animal_hospital as soon as we could, and they have him now. They're doing bloodwork, ultrasounds, and possibly a minor surgery, depending on what they find. They have been incredible in calming me down and walking us through what could be causing Finnigan to be sick. He is in amazing hands, and we are so thankful they were able to make room to see him.

She is absolutely amazing. She is selfless and puts everyone before herself. She supports me through all my shenanigans. She is always there to listen to my bullshit and ready to whoop some ass if needed. I am so extremely lucky and grateful that she came into my life. She makes me a better person. She makes me want to keep going in this place even when I don’t want to. She keeps me sane and holds me accountable. I am a better person with her.
