Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there, including all of us that chose not to procreate. We are all mothers to somebody, something. 🐾
Here is a photo of me and my Ma in Jamaica in the 70’s. Somehow she cobbled enough money together to take us on this fabulous vacation where I discovered a love for travel and new cultures. (This was also the trip where I got stung by a Man o’ War jellyfish and lost my 2 front teeth, of which I still have the Jamaican dollar bills from under my hotel pillow)
Eileen is no longer with us, but I still feel her presence and love. No doubt she was proud of me and loved Tony to pieces. One of her last words to him was to take good care of me.
I am blessed in this life to have had such a strong an independent role model. She was funny, smart and beautiful. She would often be laughing while she slept, sometimes in her heels because her feet would hurt without them on. Her dreams were a party I can only imagine. 💗

I will be at the Elizabeth Taylor Aquatic Center on the Sundays I am back working in Los Angeles.
Elizabeth funded this pool and was a believer in water therapy as am I. I recovered from a serious operation when I was 16 years old in a therapy pool before I could walk again.
It was incredibly healing and brought me out of so much pain.
Side note: Elizabeth Taylor also has history in Puerto Vallarta since she was there with Richard Burton filming Night of the Iguana. She is adored and there are many statues of her.
She seems to be my new saint apparently 🧚🏽♀️💜🧜🏼♀️

We have our first visitor to Puerto Vallarta! Brian @the.nite.watch flew out from Baltimore this week and we took him on a field trip yesterday. We started in Boca de Tomatlan, about a 20 min drive south from PV, then took a water taxi to Animas where we swam in the warm waters, did yoga in the sand and soaked in the beautiful surroundings. We then hiked to Quimixto which was a bit strenuous but doable and jumped right in the waters there. I wish I had taken more pictures! It was another gorgeous day here in paradise 🦋🧜🏼♀️ with @tonymoshi

Yesterday was one of those epic days. I hit a milestone on my healing path, then travelled to the native ancestral landscape of Sedona, then back to the haunted former ghost town of Jerome, AZ with @watertherapybycandy and @hanishaf

I did it! I became a licensed Watsu practitioner 🧜🏼♀️ I was a provider up to this point but now registered worldwide! What a great week in Arizona at Pamela’s @watsuchick with these water wizards. 🤗
We all learned so much from our teacher Ahara (pictured floating in my arms) and her wisdom will be passed down and honored.
I am so grateful to have found this form of healing and can’t wait to introduce new clients to the magic of aquatic bodywork in LA and Mexico. #watsu #aquaticbodywork #waterhealing
