Year two of âtrying to disguise Mark as Santa Claus so his son doesnât recognize him at his daycareâ was again a success.
This year, I had time to hand lay some curly eyebrows and add some last min theatrical aging along with a fake nose.
Next year we are going full Mrs. Doubtfire.

â First Half Marathon Completed
Two years ago, I injured my ankles so bad I couldnât walk up or down stairs without holding onto the hand rails for dear life.
While they got slightly got better on their own but I knew I needed to gain strength and lose weight or that injury would never heal.
Cut to 2024: a very terrible year for me for numerous reasons, and like most long distance runners, that trauma is why I signed up for this half đ. Since then, Iâve lost 55 lbs, gained some sweet calf muscles and the abilty to gloat about this race for another week or so.
Thanks to my fellow runner/Strava pals for encouraging me and pushing me through. And my regular pals as well for putting up with me while I obsessed over this. Extra special thanks goes to @casum and @be_mad_ill_vfx for being my in-person cheerleaders that day.
2025 is definitely ending way better than it started.

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY MARVIN! If you didnât know, Marvin is king of the baby boys and he deserves all the snugs and hugs in the entire world. He pretends he hates it but we all know he doesnât. I canât wait to wake up with him lying on my head tomorrow OR at 6am when he announces loudly that he used the litter box.

Fun fact: @chantalerenee is tied for my longest Toronto pal. Sheâs also oh so talented at so many things.
She also modelled for me when I was in makeup school (photo at the end) and hilariously I now TEACH the class that photo is from and Iâd give myself a 7/10 (the brow is all wrong).

New work for @alaskacomm . Thanks @innoceancanada and @airfoilmedia for having me on. (I just realized the caption I wrote before posting wasnât included!)
I made a lilâ prosthetic that was deep enough to support the end part of a fish hook and then had the back end attached to a thin silicone puck that fit in the actors mouth between his teeth and cheek.
Props to @christianbmckenna for putting up with me adjusting his mouth constantly and @andkatewaslike for assisting on the other actor.
