62.7 miles. 14 hours and 13 minutes. It was my first 100k race and holy hell. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. Couldn’t have done it without my amazing pacers @eaevange and @jason.skiano . And allllll the supporters to get me race ready @dralexweber@carlaweier and all my @pelotonstudios instructors that sent me the nicest notes and encouragement! 🫶🫶🫶
So happy that it’s over! I’ll be focusing on training my stomach for how many breakfast burritos I can consume in these next few days. Feel free to join me in this quest. 🌯
Ironman World Championships Kona Official time: 11:48:42. It was a BRUTAL day. Temps hit a high of 90 degrees with 80% humidity, rough water, and high winds. I spoke to a woman who had done Kona 10 times (!) and told me it was the worst conditions she had ever seen. It was certainly the toughest race I have ever done but good news folks - I still have all my toenails!

Ça m’a plaisait beaucoup 🥰. Ams > Paris > Biarritz > Bilbao > San Sebastien and such fun with friends @caroleannemenzi@melakah@janedandy@dee_calabrese@gennareno . And I only wanted to give my kids up for adoption two or three times. All in all, c’est pas mal. 👍
Yesterday feels like a total dream! What an incredible experience! My goal was to feel good finishing as this was my very first full Ironman and I did not expect to qualify for the Kona World Championships 🌎!!! Beyond thrilled and thankful to all my cheerleaders and supporters. 11:23….🤯!
Huge thanks to @kustho and @stevekoostin for hosting me this weekend and being so supportive in every way imaginable. I am so lucky to have had incredible partners to train with @jconnorsimpson@moni_la@yixuan_m and give me all the energy while racing. My awesome triathlete wife @carlaweier . My kick ass parents who lasted THE WHOLE day to cheer me on @mrsmaurak and @rca880 . And of course my thoughtful and hilarious coparent best friend reminding me that yes, there is a marathon at the end @peeta 😂. Love you allllll. 🥰
