His paintings capture subtle gestures and ambiguous moments, inviting viewers into suspended narratives that feel both intimate and open-ended.

@andrea.luzi__ is the winner of the @fb_art_collection Prize 2026. Presented by @anniwugallery , the artist was awarded on Saturday, April 25 with the work La signora del gioco (2026). The prize, promoted by FB Art Collection and founded by Felipe Benvenutti, focuses on the valorization of Black art and the expansion of cultural perspectives within the contemporary art system. As Felipe Benvenutti states: “We are particularly pleased that a young Italian artist has been awarded this prize with a work of great sensitivity and depth. Andrea Luzi’s practice shows how new generations engage with symbolic imagery in original ways, contributing to the enrichment and expansion of contemporary art perspectives.” Andrea Luzi (Ancona, 1997) investigates the persistence of symbolic imagery, creating a tension between archaic iconographies and contemporary imaginaries.

PROSSIMA DISTANZA ( NEAREST DISTANCE), 2026 Maddalena Iodice e Giuditta Vettese Prossima Distanza, 2026, di Maddalena Iodice e Giuditta Vettese è un nuovo lavoro performativo che sviluppa i codici verbali e gestuali al cuore del progetto dialogico tra le artiste, e risponde agli spazi architettonici dI Spazio Profumo mettendoli in dialogo con una presenza acquea, una marea corporea che si fa ritmo tra realtà e sogno. Esplorando il corpo dall’interno, le artiste si confrontano e interrogano le nozioni di presenza, relazione e transe a partire da un luogo che appartiene all’inarticolato e al movimento. Emergendo dallo spazio viscerale, il loro linguaggio si schiude alle potenzialità dell’irrazionale e del poetico, evocando anziché definire, aprendo dimensioni di senso anziché descrivere. Prossima Distanza (Nearest Distance), 2026, by Maddalena Iodice e Giuditta Vettese is a performance that develops the verbal and gestural codes at the core of the artists dialogic project and responds to the architectural volumes of Spazio Profumo, drawing into a visceral exchange with an aqueous presence, a corporeal tide that manifests as a rhythm between reality and dream. Exploring the body from within the body itself, the artists confront and problematize notions of presence, embodiment, relationality, and trance, emerging from a realm of the unarticulated and of pure movement. Surfacing from this visceral space, their language opens to the potential of the irrational and the poetic, evoking rather than defining, expanding dimensions of sense rather than describing. Day 5 brought the Milano Art Week to a close with a day of engaging, well-attended talks and a vibrant atmosphere across the fair. Visitors joined a series of conversations—from the presentation of Glances over Milano by @theartsociety.club & @plusrl_com , to Prezzi Pazzi Arte a Pezzi with author Marco Guenzi in collaboration with @skira_arte , followed by Art That Transforms by @u_art_p , and a final talk with Fondazione Pareidolia on collecting as a search for a new aesthetic canon. Throughout the day, guests also enjoyed brunch and music by @ufeel__ , with DJ sets by @larrymasmero and @peterlc.music creating a soft clubbing mood across the spaces.
