Hi! Lots of new faces so time for a reintroduction. I’m Meg! Ancestral Priestess, writer, musician, and speaker. Fast facts: āš”ļøGrew up on the Eastern Shore of MD & moved to NYC when I was 18. Lived there for 7 years & LOVE it! āš”ļøStudied dramatic writing & comedy at NYU & graduated w honors from their school of film & TV. Got to write & perform with some of the most talented comedians & musicians in the world. āš”ļø Irish-American on my dad’s side, Scottish & Swedish on mom’s & I come from a long line of healers, teachers, spiritual seers, political advisors & leaders. Dad is from WV (via Boston) & mom’s fam is from NYC so sometimes I feel like a social experiment. āš”ļøRaised super Catholic & still go to Church sometimes, though the way I interact w the institution has changed A LOT after years away deconstructing. I work w Mary Magdalen & the Holy Mother a lot, as well as many Irish deities & Aset. āš”ļø In my early 20s, I turned down professional opportunities in the industry because they didn’t align with my values. I pivoted into community service & Arts Ed administration in the non-profit world, where I became a Comms Director at 24. āš”ļøStarted professional spiritual work in 2017 & have been full-time since 2021. I specialize in sacred creativity, death work, decolonial ancestral healing, past life/inner child healing, vocal medicine, sacred business & the priestess path. āš”ļøI have a blue heeler named Iris. āš”ļøI’m a musician & regularly perform with @wearesongbirdcollective I also work as a songwriter w organizations that help veterans heal PTSD through music. I have some original music out! āš”ļøFull spectrum doula! āš”ļøI’m very athletic, I love hiking, running, yoga, and the beach. āš”ļøkid-whisperer! Ways to work w me: - Substack! LINEAGE • LEGACY • LAND A few times throughout the year, I have the privilege of spending the day(s) in ceremony at the Graham’s with my friend & teacher @susanstockman . Nancy was to Sue what Sue is to me. (Friend, teacher, mentor, mother, sister.) I never got to meet Nancy. Sue & I met and became important to each other shortly after she passed. Timing feels precise. These ceremonies are so grounding because of the energy & legacy woven throughout the house & the land. I’ve never met Nancy or her husband Richard, but I know them in a sense. I feel her especially every time I’m there, & whenever I’m reminded of the work I get to do there. Nancy was the president of Planned Parenthood in Milwaukee in the early 1950’s. Her husband Richard was the first director of the Peace Corps, one of the first Commissioners of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, founding VP of the National Organization for Women & the first director of the National Teachers Corps. While in Tunisia with the Peace Corps, Nancy raised their five (!!) young children and served the organization in multiple capacities, which she did for years to come. She marched for civil rights with Bobby Kennedy, and was involved in the Johnson administration’s efforts toward the same. She served as the national coordinator of Peace Links and as the deputy director of education programs at the National Urban Coalition. She co-founded multiple schools, a public library, served on numerous organizational boards, and edited over 100 manuscripts for the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy on issues related to culture and conflict in a time of change in Eastern and Central Europe, Africa, India and China. She also opened her home on this spit of heaven to artists, writers, musicians, and people to create, be nourished, heal, and rest. Nancy was a renaissance woman rooted entirely in service above self. She believed a better world was worth working toward, even when it seemed impossible. She found beauty in the mud & shared it generously. Sue says saving the world is an inside job. I am so grateful to do my inner work in a place that elevates the deeper purpose & roots me firmly in it.

hi I feel like this is important to share! it’s on my Substack, which is linked at the top of my page. Also, did you know it’s a law of the universe that the number of times you edit a Substack piece is directly proportional to the number of blatant typos and errors you’ll find literally the second after you fire it off to people’s emails? Anyway. Bye!

Hi! Emerging v briefly to say IRIS IS THREE (3!) !!!! šŸŽ‚ Since coming to live with me 11 months ago, she… has mastered her fears of: bicycles, motorcycles, sprinter vans, mail/ups/amazon trucks, school buses has learned how to walk on a leash and is better at leaving squirrels alone and not barking at dogs and cats in the neighborhood every time we walk (she prefers NOT being on leash, and she’s great at that too) has learned the words: wait, place, shake, breakfast, dinner, cookie, fishie, ball, yard, garden, dino, dance, toy, car, lambchop, necklace (her collar), bear, bone, lion, Grandma, Danpa, good, walk, run, hike, bra (her harness lol), bed, stay in the yard, squirrel, birdie, Sue, Emma, Roxie, Butter, Finny, Coby, Terrykaye, Cooper, kittie cat, drop it, leave it, no, woods, gentle, here, come, berry, you stay here, I’ll be back soon, agua, shnuggle, wag wag wag, go ahead, do you want this, up, neighbors, bully, beef !!!! She’s really great at listening and she loves having a job to do. She loves our neighbors and all the dogs in our neighborhood. She’s so friendly and teaches me to be braver at trusting other people. Every morning, we wake up, and we go outside, and I say, ā€œWhat a great day to be a girl and her girl!ā€ and she wags her tail and we start the day. šŸŒž I love her so much! I’m so grateful I get to be her girl! We are celebrating with her favorite foods (blueberries, raspberries, sardines) and a brand new stuffy to destroy. She is a piece of my heart, and she’s here with me all the time. Isn’t that something?

We are living in a time of information overload and propaganda. The intuition is one of the greatest tools we have to work with! What is your relationship to your intuition like? Do you hear it? Do you trust it? šŸ’«

April 7, 2026 - on a trip with my mom and our driver said, ā€œreally it’s all kind of crazy like how could he be president again? he acts all tough and strong about crime but he’s a felon.ā€ She was incredulous about it. It is so obvious. then she continued, ā€œTim Walz is on the news a lot. He sounds smart and like a good leader. It seems like people are trying. It’s crazy you have to do that but it’s good you are doing it.ā€ We toured the Anne Frank house the day before and it was so affecting. It was eerie to hear the timeline. I wish everyone could go and hear the story and see the room and look at the names and the walnut tree see saw from her window. The slow creep of it all, to the all of a sudden of it all. Before the museum, our tour guide told us the world can see it what for what it is, that he had one friend who became maga and the he said it was fascism and they are no longer friends. At dinner tonight my mom said, ā€œAmericans don’t believe the world is real.ā€ And I understood immediately what she meant. Too many Americans don’t understand there is a world outside of us. Other countries, other cultures, other real, live humans with the same wants and hopes and needs. I don’t know what to say really. He shouldn’t be president. He should be removed. Don’t let them trick you into believing there’s no right and wrong. We’re not a Christian nation and we don’t need a religious crusade and maga is a fascist movement.
