Today’s topic is the hate-love story of posting snippets of your recordings.
Many don’t take time or simply don’t enjoy doing this properly…
Personally, I love mastering my sets, picking the right snippets, and turning them into visuals with the club’s logo or something..
What I don’t love is how the algorithm reacts to these posts sometimes. it can make all the effort feel pointless. Maybe I should just do the classic phone screen recording like many do: one picture, done. But no… I’ve seen too many of those lately 🚶
Recently, I found a way to make this process more pleasant for myself. Some of you might not know, but I love to travel and I love dogs..
Especially to be by the sea, swimming and reconnecting with the ocean (maybe that’s the water sign in me 🌊)
For this occasion, I used travel footage from the past year to create visuals for my Tresor set snippets. Honestly, I love the videos even without sound, sometimes more than with the DJ set on top.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this little hate-love story, maybe I’m not the only one who feels this way.

I did the opening that night, starting from ambient and experimental sounds, slowly building up to more driving stuff.

After recording, I usually let the set rest for about a month before listening again. it helps me hear it fresh.

Nearly two weeks ago, I made my Else debut, a night that was truly special for me. I played the closing, surrounded by friends and an amazing crowd cheering me on the whole time. I recorded the set to capture that moment, for me it was a real milestone and such a satisfying night. Can’t wait to share another big one coming soon. 🤠🥂

Two weeks ago I had the chance to play at an iconic club, Tresor Berlin!
It’s always been a dream of mine, and in the weeks leading up to it I kept imagining what it would feel like. Sometimes I even had tears in my eyes just thinking about it..
I was nervous the whole time.. some friends told me it’s healthy to be nervous I guess…
Being in the hallway, feeling the energy, hearing the crowd scream… it was just emotional ❤️
This moment meant so much to me..
Big thanks to my friends who came out to support me, and also to those who supported me from afar. I’ll be posting the set in a week or two,it was truly a special night for me.
