Back in January Last year, I wrote and directed a Kodak commercial on film. This was a really fun shoot. Thanks to the whole team especially my DOP @chriscardigan , we literally discussed the script and storyboard in a loud bar and made it work, who was also kind enough to discuss what works and what doesn’t during the shoot and that helped in improvising few shots and @defneauf who actually just came from turkey night before the shoot and helped us to manage the whole set. The whole crew were equally invested just as me. I made my classmates act in it which gave me full freedom to ask them to do whatever I wanted. I am proud to share some of the stills from the commercial “Jewels” and storyboard which I am a little embarrassed.

This is a katydid also known as bush crickets. Fun fact : The wings of katydids are usually green with markings that make them resemble leaves so that it is difficult for their predators to recognize them.
