For me, 2025 has been a year of reteaching and healing. I was thankful to reconnect with a photographer friend, @deanisidro . I have always admired his work and skill, so when he asked if he could shoot me I was honored. Often when I try to get in front of cameras, my awkward and nervous energy comes through. But when I told this to Dean he smiled and said "I got you". Behind the camera, he has a quiet and graceful power that allowed me to relax. Reflecting on this shoot as well as other big moments of my year, I progress into 2026 grateful for feeling a new sense of confidence in myself, my work and my craft. Thank you Dean for this special gift of photos and some fresh perspective.
The last week of June My polycrew took some friends to toronto to celebrate pride. This is just a sliver of the many 'Homosessual Tendencies' we enjoyed while in Canada. Gayetry such as: dancing for hours, laughing til it hurts to smile, and other such f4ggottry fun. While I wish I could bring all of my close friends with me on a trip like this, this crew was such a joy to bring together. The entire weekend while exhausting, was like balm for my soul. No drama, no demon twinks, just fun and family. I will admit, we came back and slept for 2.5 days. #pride2025 #toronto
Madness happening in March, that is for certain. Mistakes were made, lessons learned, adventures trekked with some love and food along the way.
I was most certainly in a funk the last year. And Iād say I didnāt even realize it til I started to actually want to come out of it. February I remember my brain sort of just clicking and telling me I could try ādoingā again. Instead of just executing daily life by duty. Hereās to aiming to be a little better each day than the one before and being human along the way.
Also I totally didnāt do a February recap but I decided thatās just for me so Iām not sorry.

Started 2025 with a trip to Florida for a combination of work and play- well At least all play for me. Rashaan got a very special gig being a talent judge for Miss Teen and Miss America 2025. Thanks to Rashaanās hard work (and the iconic beauty pageant) I got a bday stay in some sunshine with my two loves Josh and Rashaan. As I start another trip around the sun; I am gratefully reminded of the bright light of love that the Devine has shined on me through my friends, partners and community. š
This is the first time that the three of us planned to be in NYC for #christmas. Itās the best choice that we couldāve made. Christmas Eve we made an amazing dinner just the three of us, headed for some holiday drag bing then watched a movie together. On Christmas we slept in the. Made the most delicious breakfast pizza. @sirblackmamba had us over for an amazing Christmas dinner. The holiday has been full of us expressing our love languages: food, cuddles, quiet/easy times with each other. What a gift this has been.
