As I reflect on the journey we’ve shared, I’m filled with gratitude for the sacrifices you made raising us as a single father. Your unwavering dedication, patience, and love have shaped me into the person I am today, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
Recently, when you underwent triple bypass surgery, my world was turned upside down. Seeing you in that hospital bed, fighting for your health, was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. But even in the midst of fear and uncertainty, us kids mustered the strength to be your advocate, to fight for your well-being, because that’s what family does. It was hard, Dad, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world, because we got to be there for you when you needed us most. And seeing you recover, seeing you thrive, has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m so fu#%ing proud of you!
One of the most precious memories I treasure is walking down the aisle to get married, with you by my side. Your presence, your smile, and your love made that moment unforgettable. I hope you know just how much it meant to me.
