I designed an embroidered red-headed woodpecker for Sand Bluff Bird Observatory in Illinois! My mom (featured here) usually does all of their merch designs, but asked me to this year :)
I spent the majority of my childhood weekends and Sand Bluff, one of the only banding stations in the country open regularly to the public. As a teen, I took my experiences there (releasing birds, chasing frogs, catching fireflies) for granted, but as an adult I have a deep appreciation for all the bird nerds who raised me and the things I learned.

Let me know if you have these things for a kiddo who needs them! I can pick up and drop off! A local parent let me know the moving company they contracted with lost almost half of their possessions, most importantly all of their child's winter clothing, toys, etc. They also cannot replace it easily.
I truly believe that there is hope in community.
