Some gorgeous video footage by
@qms_media from the Glam Up Runway a week ago at
@melbfashionfestival
It has been 11 years since I last showed within a major fashion festival, and to return in celebration of 30 years of the Festival felt deeply meaningful.
Under the breathtaking dome of the Royal Exhibition Building, I presented a curated mix of archival pieces woven together with new designs reflecting on 29 years of the Gwendolynne label.A beautiful moment to honour the past while celebrating the enduring romance and craftsmanship that define my work.
Glam Up was one of the Festival’s most anticipated events, and to open the show was an honour as well as appearing alongside an extraordinary lineup of designers
It was a true celebration of timeless design, luxurious fabrics, intricate detailing and silhouettes that shimmered and swept across the runway.
Here are some wonderful moments before the models stepped out onto the catwalk.
