インド中央部を流れる聖河ナルマダ川は、神話では瞑想するシヴァ神から流れ出た汗が川となったと言われ、あの聖なるガンジス川ですら黒牛に姿を変えて沐浴に来るとされる。 その聖河ナルマダ流域の小さな村で産出される「ババグーリ」と呼ばれるインド瑪瑙を再び京都へ。
