There’s a difference between building a brand… and building a brand that lasts.
I had the opportunity to speak to these brilliant minds at the @mediavalueprogram about what it truly takes, beyond aesthetics, beyond trends, beyond the noise.
We talked about clarity, consistency, and the kind of intentionality that keeps your brand relevant long after the hype fades.
Because in the end, it’s not about being seen… it’s about being remembered.

(A Practical Portrait)
It was such an exciting experience at the just concluded Creative Visual Design workshop. We were able to dissect and explore the foundation of proper visual storytelling.
More particularly, during the 1st Photography session, we surged into the depths of FINDING PURPOSE (the bedrock of any practice) Here we were also able to analyze the basics of Photography and the best approach to understanding it.
For our 2nd session, we were privileged to delve deeper into the understanding and mastery of DESIGN (The Soul of Art)
Here, we pretty much swam within an ocean of notables that form the edifice called Design. We had a few practicals to further cement our understanding of what was learnt.
For our 3rd and final session for the workshop (which turned out to me 2 sessions), we Set out to dig deeper into the BUSINESS OF PHOTOGRAPHY (How to scale) Here we were able to itemize and analyze notables when it comes to starting photography as a profitable career. We expanded on this by using case studies relatable to Lagos/Nigeria. For the second part, we went full throttle on a Live Demo session where all students were able to explore and weigh in on the creation of a wholesome visual product (One of which is the ONE ABOVE)
In all, the class was interactive and filled with moments of re-discovery and self-reflection. I believe the majority of the participants will be doing great things with the certain MIND SHIFT that has occurred.
