Weâve known the Hendler family since their earliest days, back when our studio and their first brewery were right next to each other.
Since then, watching what theyâve built across Night Shift, Wormtown, and Jackâs Abby has been pretty incredible.
This project gave us the chance to work together again. This time capturing the energy, community, and personality behind the brand in a way that could live on season after season.
Not a bad way to spend a few shoot days.
Happy National Beer Day đť

No FoolinââŚTen years ago we dropped this video and we feel like itâs a great anniversary to pull it out of the archives, direct from the artistâs page, Jared Dylan. We always felt like this song should have been a hit.
This was a 2 day, 2 cam, 2 lensâŚindie bootstrap production - on campus at U Miami (what permit sir? we were just leavingâŚ), Trendy Studio, and some local pick-ups including a private beach that we snuck into.
Honestly, we did whatever we could to make this happen because we believed in this guy. Everyone dug deep because the entire original treatment got tossed out and we made up a new one on the spot, on set. What was going to be an ensemble event turned into something way more simple..a Crush. We just went for it.
Special thanks to Jared Dylan, Ian Barrett, Rachel Seeker, Andrea Lopez, Bill Millman, Paul Bouley and Erin Hayes for bringing this to life. Have a great seasonâŚWe think winter is over...

â(Townie) is a story about identity, memory, and what it means to stay rooted in a neighborhood even as it changes around you.â
That insight from WGBHâs Jared Bowen captures exactly why weâre excited to share Townie at The Cut in Gloucester on Friday, January 16.
Join us for a special screening, plus a post-show Q&A with Steve Sweeney and Director Ian Barrett.

Steve Sweeney, Ian Barrett, and I are thrilled that Townie is an Official Selection of the New York Comedy Film Festival!
Townie is a documentary-style stand-up film that weaves Steve Sweeneyâs live performance with his stories of growing up in Charlestown. With his honesty, humor, and that unmistakable sardonic edge, Steve brings a neighborhood to life in a way only he can.
I have to give huge credit to Ian, whose vision truly shaped this film, and to Executive Producer Peter Farrelly for believing in the project from the start.
Weâre excited (so excited!) to be screening in NYC early next year.

Honoring the legacy of the great John Lennon today.
When guitar legend @johnnya.official asked our Creative Director, Ian Barrett, to direct and produce a music video for his beautiful cover of âYouâve Got To Hide Your Love Away,â we didnât hesitate.
Hereâs the finished pieceâJohnny A. in his purest form, reflective, present, and completely at home with a guitar in his hands.
â¤ď¸ A tribute to Lennon. A celebration of art that endures.

This weekâs Beaver Moon reminded us of the full moon image we shot in Dublin, Ireland. We were out filming scenics for a clientâs event reel and the moon was the eveningsâs star. #naturephotography #fullmoon #photographer #videoproduction
My girls have grown up around the work Ian and I do. Their first playroom was our studio. Their first âart projectsâ were drawings on our whiteboard while we delivered pitches.
As a parent, I sometimes wonder how that environment will shape their memories. Will they remember me as someone who made time for them? Will they feel how much theyâve always been my world? Or will growing up around our work make them question their place in it? You know, the kind of soul-searching questions that keep parents up at night.
This summer, we went to Charlestown to pick up some scenic shots for our movie Townie. As always, the kids came along. We gave each of them a camera and told them to film what they found interesting.
Turns out, what they found interesting was usâworking. I canât share the footage they shot of Ian, but hereâs a bit of what they captured of me.
What got me emotional, though, was what happened off-camera. As I was landing the drone, a group of curious kids ran over, asking a million questions about it. My daughters sprinted up next to me and proudly said, âThatâs MY mom.â
They get to see me work outside my comfort zoneâtrying new ideas, learning new tools, getting a little better each time. And maybe thatâs what Iâll hope they remember most.
