I’ve been growing out my grey, it was hard in the beginning, I didn’t feel like myself most days, months even and then I began to settle into the journey. I felt secretly brave for going for it, like being in a special club and I watched alllll the #silversisters videos. As it grew in more I saw glimpse of my maternal grandmothers family when I looked in the mirror - the wild white curls popping out & loved that connection to them. I outgrew the woman who would have listened to her mother and kept coloring it forever. I outgrew caring about others options so much. As I grow out my grey I’m growing in to myself, I guess. And shoutout to @caddis_life whose glasses constantly steal the show on bad grow out days - always the boost I need! Not an ad just an obsession. #greyhair #silversisters #caddis

I’m the new owner of this 85’ El Camino! It was my dads car, he loved it and drove it up until the pandemic. I’m overhauling it, inside and out, dreaming about leather seats and a fabulous paint job! I picked up this GS troop leader jacket at an estate sale today. The patches are from the 1960’s-80’s. The pockets were both full of unused patches. It’s just so fabulous~
