blue fire doom, the new LP by Sloome is out today!! this is a rock record packed with big guitars that highlight G Curtis Walls’ knack for songwriting. When i tell y’all that this one’s been a long time coming, it’s an understatement. Curt and the gang balance between songs akin to modern shoegaze bands like Full Body 2 and then more classic indie rock like The Strokes. This is also the first studio record from the band—recorded at @_the_atomic_garden_ with Jack Shirley. Sloome is a band straight outta Modesto, CA with members from Welcome Strawberry and Paper Space.
