After four years in the DMV, I am moving to Philly. There are many reasons this is a big step. I am stoked beyond description, for all those reasons, but I do have a favorite reason. I’m honestly thrilled at the prospect of being local with Rachel. Long-distance is hard, and we’ve done it for about two years now. It will be sweet to get to Sunday evening and just… stay.
My last day living in the DMV is 8/8. I have a new job waiting for me in Philly, which starts after Labor Day. Major growth, major expansion is on the horizon. Life is good.
We do cool things. Worked a reverse step step, through the middle exit and a nice regular h2h at the end :)

Last night I was thrilled to see @retsiru perform as part of @2ndhandcircus Scrap Night. It was such a fantastic show, with polished and very entertaining comedy, aerial, and juggling acts.

Whoah —— inlocates——- this skill has been on my bucket list to find success in. I had taken a workshop with the lovely inlocate wispherer, Arthur Davis @liftedbyarthur a little over a year ago. Then had my acl tear in nov of last year with surgery in february of this year. This weekend for my 40 th birthday, Mark @mdm24601 and I went to Cirquehaus Festival @cirquehaus in nyc and had another chance to work with Arthur on this skill. I have been requesting soft landings to protect my body from injury so we drilled this skill in lines. It was ultimately a great success and I am super excited to be learning new pathways, getting stronger and to find such beautuful support and encouragement in the acro community.
We also took the h2h exits class with @douwes99 and @reno.gorman . Niko had excellent coaching on the through the middle exit from h2h. A first for me.
Special shout out to Mark for being my dedicated life and training partner and for continuing to cheer me on. I love the journey we are on.
