#TBT 1994/95. I got in touch with @sandergroet (ID&T) and landed several Thunderdome bookings as host. For me, as an ex-hiphop dancer, it felt like a whole new world opening up. In the years before that, I already knew Michel (@the_vinyl_junk ) from our hiphop group No Licence. He was the DJ, I was the dancer. For those @thunderdome gigs, I wanted to bring something special. I asked Michel if he could make a heavy intro. Michel knew someone… and that’s how we ended up with Tom Colenbrander @mrcixx (Cixx). What was supposed to be a simple intro turned into a complete original track. On May 13, 1995, I was standing in Oberhausen, right before the legendary live set by @djneophyte . After that came Arnhem, Zak, and many more. I was 19 at the time, the Gabber Turk, the MC. The act featured a female dancer with a burning torch, me on the mic, and Cixx’s original track playing underneath. I thought that track was lost forever. Until recently, when Cixx told me he still had it. So cool and such beautiful memories listening back to it 🖤💪🏼 #earlyhardcore
