Happy Motherās Day to an incredibly exceptional woman, my wife, my partner, and the amazing mother of our children.
Today, I celebrate you for all the sacrifices you make, for your strength, your intentional love, your care, your patience, and the way you carry this home with so much grace and courage. You have been nothing short of wonderful, and words are honestly not enough to express how grateful I am for you.
Thank you for always being there for the children, for nurturing them with love, wisdom, and tenderness. Thank you for standing strong for this family and for giving your all every single day. I feel so fortunate and blessed that God chose you to be the mother of my children.
On behalf of myself, Ojie and Ose we want you to know that we love you deeply and appreciate everything you do. We pray that God continues to keep you in good health, strength, peace, joy, wisdom, and excellence. May your life continue to move forward in greatness and progress. May you never know sorrow, and may your life never be cut short.
You will continue to flourish, shine, and become all God has destined you to be.
Happy Motherās Day, our queen. We love you always ā¤ļø

Eight years after leaving Nigeria for South Africa, I finally returned to my fatherās gravesite in Uromi,my ancestral home. Deep down, I knew my journey back home would never be complete without this visit.
The last time I stood there was in 2017, just a few months before I left the country. So much had changed since then. The roads looked different, the environment had transformed, and honestly, I struggled to locate my fatherās house. I moved from one place to another asking questions, even taking a bike through unfamiliar routes, hoping memory would guide me home.
Then something beautiful happened.
By grace, I arrived at the gathering of the elders of Oyomon Uromi,my fatherās clan in Uromi. It happened to be one of the rare days they were holding their meeting. Elderly men seated together under a canopy, discussing matters of the land. I approached them and mentioned my grandfatherās and fatherās names, explaining that I had been away for many years and could no longer remember the exact location of our family house.
Immediately, they welcomed me warmly.
āYou are home,ā one of them said.
They brought me in, asked questions about my lineage, and when I answered, two of the elders smiled and said they knew my father very well. In that moment, I didnāt feel lost anymore. I felt connected. I felt seen. I felt like a son returning home.
Then they prayed for me.
Not ordinary prayers, the kind that come from aged men who carry history, roots, and blessings in their voices. Standing there before my kinsmen, receiving prayers from the elders of my clan, was a deeply emotional and spiritual moment I will never forget.
Afterward, they led me to my fatherās gravesite.
I cleaned the grave. Prayed and I sang my fatherās favorite song. I spoke to him about life, about the journey, about the struggles, and about the victories. I asked him not to forget us. I prayed for open doors, grace, protection, and direction over our family. I poured a drink in his honor and sat there for a moment in silence.
Today reminded me that no matter how far life takes us, home never truly forgets us.
May the beautiful soul of Mr Pius Okosun Continually Rest in Peaceš
