〰️ I grew up on Nantucket, a beautiful little slice of heaven 30 miles out to sea! I was raised by a mother with an affinity for design and all things pretty that transcends generations. She also happens to be my lampshade maker

〰️While I love to guide the design process, my biggest commitment is to my client’s personal style and dreams. At the end of the day, it’s your home, not mine and I want you to love every inch of it!
〰️Previously, outside of working for other design firms, I worked for 10 years in high end fashion and it gave me an in-depth education and appreciation of textiles. Cue love for pattern mixing!!
〰️Favorite thing about design: cue the pattern mixing again (shocker, I know), the challenge that comes along with each space being more different than the next and a client’s happy squeals, especially when a partner shares the same excitement!
〰️A few design trends I just can’t get behind: wreaths anytime other than Christmas, black windows, faux plants and an accent wall.
〰️Dream project: an island retreat or a restaurant because you can typically get a little more creative/funky!
〰️When I’m not designing you can find my husband and I chasing our two littles, two dogs and high tailing it to the island or Maine every chance we get, hopefully with a margarita and beer in hand!
〰️We are rounding out year 3 since establishing McNell Interiors in 2021 and have so many exciting things in the pipeline we can’t wait to share with you! Truly, thank you for following along — I hope to inspire, bring a smile to your face and would love to hear from you!
