I looked at my little man today and remembered how anxious I was this time last year, waiting and waiting for all the signs I had read about. Of pain, broken water, or a peeping head or anything 😂
But he took his sweet time…
Yet when he came, he was worth the wait.
This should be a lesson for me, for the things I am expecting, hoping for and praying for.
But somehow I am human and I am caught between the getting tired of waiting or missing out on the process because I am anxious for the end.
Maybe, just maybe today will be a reminder that waiting isn’t always a bad place to be.

Motherhood gets exhausting more often than not, but when my son looks at me like I am the best thing to have happened to him, the stress stored in my tired waist turns into butterflies in my tummy.
