My beautiful beloved fiancée @wow.leaf and I have arrived in Columbus to start our Ph.D.s at the Ohio State University in Russian and Slavic Studies and Greek and Latin respectively. We had a lot of fun checking out the Columbus Zoo, and we couldn’t have survived the move without the help of my father, @germingham !
This evening I asked my beloved Marge to marry me and she answered in the affirmative! I’ve never been happier! Lots has happened and we’re off to Ohio to get our Ph.D.s (mine, Greek and Latin; hers, Russian and Slavic Studies)!

The wonderfully intelligent and fabulously lovely @wow.leaf has officially graduated from her MA and is off to Ohio for even more triumphant academic success in her upcoming PhD! I am beaming with pride for her! Shoutouts also to all of the Classics MA graduates from this ceremony!
Yeah, you could say that my beloved girlfriend @wow.leaf successfully defended her Master’s thesis on Masculinity and Nationalism in Putin era Russian Sports Film. You would be right, she is the best, and I am endlessly proud.
I officially had my first day of teaching 8th through 12th grade Latin on Tuesday 08/02/2023. The ever glorious and radiantly supreme @wow.leaf surprised me by showing up at my apartment while I was gone, cleaning it up, and taking me to get Indian food for dinner after my first day teaching. Things are going pretty darned well, I tell ya.
Happy birthday to my beloved girlfriend @wow.leaf Marge, with whom I have spent as many seconds as possible since meeting her in November 2022! She has helped me endlessly through my MA thesis, moving, and more, and none of it could I have done without her.
