Hello community,
The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (MCCLA) has been a cornerstone of the Mission District since 1977. Founded by artists and community activists, MCCLA was created with a powerful vision: to promote, preserve, and uplift Latino cultural arts that reflect the living traditions and experiences of Chicano, Mexican, Central and South American, and Caribbean communities.
For nearly five decades, MCCLA has made the arts accessible as an essential part of community development and well-being. Through low-cost arts education classes, cultural programming, exhibitions, screenprinting services, and space for creative expression, MCCLA has been a place where culture is celebrated, artists are supported, and community thrives.
Today, we are at a critical moment.
We are coming together to raise funds to ensure that MCCLA can continue its legacy and reopen as a strong, stable cultural hub for future generations. Your support will help sustain programming, stabilize operations, and preserve this vital community space.
Every contribution—big or small—makes a real impact. Even a few dollars helps move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.
If you’re unable to donate at this time, sharing this fundraiser is just as valuable.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued.

MCCLA has been a hub for culture bearing, reconnecting people of the diaspora with their roots in order to continue to cultural legacy and resistance against erasure.

If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, we invite you to join us. No amount is too small — every single contribution is an act of belief in our community and our future.
Not able to give right now? You can still make a huge impact. Share this with at least 10 people, post it on your social media, and help us expand this circle of support.
Together, we build. Together, we rise.

✨ A Season of Gratitude, Impact & Legacy ✨
As we close out the year, we reflect with deep gratitude on a powerful season at Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts ❤️🔥🐆
Over the past six months, MCCLA proudly hosted 40+ public programs, exhibitions, performances, and educational experiences—celebrating Latine heritage, honoring Día de los Muertos, uplifting artists, and preserving cultural memory for generations to come.
From community altars and healing spaces to international performances, artist residencies, weekly classes, and the protection of one of the most important Latine printmaking archives in the country—this work is rooted in culture, resistance, healing, and joy.
None of this would be possible without our artists, donors, supporters, partners, staff, volunteers, and community. Because of you, MCCLA remains a living, breathing cultural home ✨
