Recently sold, our Diablo has found a new home!
Delivered new in April 1992 to K+R Ruf AG in Schleinikon, Switzerland. This Lamborghini Diablo is finished in Bianco Impact over Rosso Leather.
Introduced in January 1990 in Monte-Carlo, the Lamborghini Diablo was Lamborghini’s flagship V12 supercar of the early 1990s. Powered by a 5.7L N/A V12, it produced around 492 HP. It was capable of exceeding 325 km/h, making it one of the fastest production cars of its time!
The Diablo’s V12 even found its way into Formula 1 testing, when Larrousse evaluated a Lamborghini engine derived from the same architecture. It showed how serious Lamborghini’s engineering was, even beyond road cars.
Originally styled by Marcello Gandini, featured dramatic wedge-shaped lines and iconic scissor doors. The Diablo marked Lamborghini’s transition into a more refined yet still extreme driving experience. Early models, including the 1992 version, were rear-wheel drive, without power steering, and known for their raw, analog feel!
